Processing Details:
Draw blood in a Monoject glass Navy Blue - No Additive tube.
Allow to clot 30 minutes and spin.
Remove stopper and carefully pour serum into a Mayo Metal Free
Screw Cap Transfer Vial. DO NOT use pipet or wooden sticks to assist in the transfer of the specimen.

High concentrations of gadolinium and iodine are known to interfere with most metal tests. If either gadolinium or iodine containing contrast media has been administered, a specimen should not be collected for 96 hours.
