Andrology is the study of male reproduction. Andrology includes the diagnosis of male infertility, therapeutic techniques to improve fertility, sperm banking, research into infertility, and patient and health care provider education.

The Andrology Department is part of Allina Health Laboratory and strives for excellence in each of the areas listed above. The aim of the Andrology program is to assist patients and physicians in their goal of obtaining a pregnancy by providing state of the art services and research in a professional and caring manner.

The Andrology laboratory has been serving the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota area since 1985.

We have three testing locations located throughout the metro area with our main laboratory located on the Abbott Northwestern Hospital campus in Minneapolis. Additional metro testing locations are located at Unity Hospital in Fridley and United Hospital in St. Paul. Regional testing locations include Buffalo Hospital, Cambridge Medical Center and the New Ulm Medical Center.
